Good morning all!

Today, we thought we’d continue on our theme of short and sweet outfit posts for a quick burst of summer inspiration, and this Friday morning we thought we’d use a little bit of inspiration from our recent trip to the USA, bringing in one of our favourite all American looks into the mix, double denim.

Double denim can be a tough one, particularly in summer. Here, we’ve taken a unique spin on the look, and paired denim shorts with a faux denim cotton fibre shirt. This allows the look to be light, cool, and casual. Since we are all about those classy details, we added on our Bondi Box in Aqua and Gold to sharpen up the look and keep this more dressed down look somewhat polished and unique.

We’re also loving that beachy straw accessories are having a moment. We paired this outfit with a straw boater, but straw bags are also such a great summer staple. Asos has a massive selection here, but our personal favourite is this one by Cult Gaia.

We’ve really loved being more casual this summer and experimenting with denim. It’s not a fabric we’ve been so into in the past, but we completely understand why denim is such a summer staple.
