We hope you are having a lovely weekend so far, and an amazing start to Spring. In the spirit of spring, with all the flowers coming out to blossom, we wanted to give you a run down of our first collection in several parts. In our excitement to put the pieces up, we never actually did a blog post talking about our Spring 2017 pieces, and we wanted to give an introduction to our gorgeous spring jackets and blazers that we hope you can wear to any occasion.

The inspiration for these looks came from Spring time in London (how appropriate for this time of year). Spring in London is just the best- the days are longer, the cold is disappearing, and there is that unmistakably (well, spring-y) vibe around the city. It’s not quite summer but the days are brighter, and warmer, and the sun begins to shine. Though being England, it is unmistakably still a little chilly, and so we wanted to create a jacket that you could wear and feel comfortable, while still bringing a little spring colour into your wardrobe.

If we could name one inspiration for these spring time looks, it might be the flowers coming out to bloom. London is always magical around March, April, May. Walking through the park and seeing the daffodils pop up through the wet ground, and visiting the quintessentially U.K spring events such as the Chelsea flower show. We wanted to create pieces that felt polished and pretty, and so we started with our Chelsea Box series in pastels. We hope you love the looks.

Our first jacket is one of our favourites- the Chelsea Box in Blue. This light blue tweed fabric is soft enough for the daytime, and would perfectly compliment jeans and a t shirt, or a more dressy work wear look with trousers and a blouse. We love how the soft colour reminds us of a pastel blue sky, and it’s the perfect piece for someone who wants to look professional and put together, but not too girly.

Our second spring pastel jacket is all about pink. It’s a fun fact that one of our favourite things is cherry blossoms. Our founder Charlotte actually grew up on a street lined with cherry blossom trees, and so the soft pink is near and dear to this collection’s heart. We’re so thrilled so see that pink is in season this year, and we love this soft pink jacket to complement any outfit. Here it has been styled with all white ensemble, but you could also put this on top of a white summer dress, or even a black work dress to make the look more feminine. Our last piece is the Chelsea Box in Soft Cream which is most definitely one of our most versatile jackets. We’re always caught in situations in the summer where we need a little white jacket or a white pashmina. Spring is for florals and pretty patterns, but it’s not always the warmest season. The Chelsea Box in Soft Cream reminds us of the soft off white of roses, or lilies. We love this jacket and how useful it is as it matches literally everything, and the shape is universally flattering. We hope you love it too.
